Professinal Steel Roller a must
I was a tradesman when young and learned through that time that the right tool is worth its weight in gold. I only used the Steel roller once to fix a loose screen and felt that feeling again of having the right tool in my hands and that it worked as expected. The roller is smooth and does not wobble. i am very satisfied with the purchase. I recommend to those that do not want to buy another roller for a good while.

Good Tool
Needed to replace a lot of screens. Got the steel roller as I didn’t think the nylon roller would last. This tool works great. Feels great in the hand. Just need to be careful as the edges are sharp and it cut a couple of screens when pressing the spline into the groove when using the concave side. Decided to use the flat side on the outer edge and after doing that had no issues. If it did cut the screen it was on the outer edge which was needing cut anyway so no more issues.

Nice size and comfortaable for the hand.
I bought this as my last spline tool was missing. This one came in and worked fine. It looked a bit bigger than my last one but that was OK as I needed the extra length as no table to work on so was kneeling on patio re-screening the door. After tools put up I found my original one and it was smaller in size so this purchase was an upgrade to me. Hand hold area is more shaped to fit your hand than the old straight same size wood handle one.

Great Tool
Heavy duty and fits in your hand well. Did 6 52x48 screens and it was an ease to use. Spend the extra for a tool that will last, unlike the plastic ones.
