What is a Retractable Screen Door?
A door that retracts into a protective housing instead of sliding out of the way. A retractable screen can be installed with any type of door (a hinged or sliding door) and can be a solution for installing a screen on a front door as it is invisible when not in use.
How Do I Choose a Retractable Screen Door?
Choose one based on size and custom options. The Milano 100 is perfect for many door openings and can be customized to many sizes and with specialty mesh and frame colors. The Genius COOL screen door can fit stock-size door openings: it doesn’t have customizations available. However, it can be installed within 30 minutes with just a power screwdriver.
For Wider Door Openings
The Milano 200 is designed for French doors or wider door openings. For even wider openings the Olympic or Sierra which are pull-down doors might be best, or the ZIGZAG 1 or ZIGZAG 2 which can fit accordion door openings.

Great product
Received the box. Well packaged. Opened it and started. First question was right or left? Do you determine from inside out or opposite. Figured that out (would have been good to have that in the instructions) the next step was to remove andreplace the end caps. Harder than it looked in the instructions but got it done. Most difficult was to attach the cassette to the clips. Again takes some courage and strength. When you have done it a few times easy peasy. All of that being said I am going to order one for another door. I like it. Like the way it functions and like the quality.

Good instructions, pretty straightforward installation. Roller tension is a little too high for my liking. Works as promised, good solution for better circulation and keeps bugs out!

I have only had the screen installed for a couple weeks, but it has been great so far. I was nervous about my measurements being accurate enough, but that didn't seem to be a problem. The installation was pretty quick and easy. The written instructions were fine, but the installation video was not particularly helpful. I purchased the BetterVue screen and it is almost invisible. I actually wish they had an option to include some type of striping on it, similar to Brisa. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and have recommended this screen to several friends.

Looks good!
We bought a silver retractable screen for one of our doors. It took about an hour to install once we familiarised ourselves with all the bits (we still have some bits left that we don't know what to do with. It looks very smart and fits exactly. The only issue is that we have to be careful retracting it so that it winds back smoothly into the cassette. I have just ordered a second retractable screen.
