My dog and daughter contributed to ripping the standard mesh on my screen door. I purchased this pet screen and installed it easily. Through experience, I found this mesh is super high-quality because during installation I accidentally went over it with my sharp blade and it didn’t rip!! It’s like each thread is triple layered, I’m very pleased and I can tell this durable. I was a little concerned that it might look too thick but having it installed you can’t that it’s thicker. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing this one.

Sliding door screen was ripped open by our new rescue dogs a few years ago. The sun beats in from that window as we are on a south west exposure. The Old screen was removed and had to use a hand pick as the original spline was all dries out and crumbly. New Screen was received and in place in 2 hours. Its a thicker screen so you really have to push hard on the spline wheel to compress the spline and screen into the groove. Perfect on the first shot, and thank god for that.

Strong and easy to install with a staple gun, this screws I’d good for resistance to toddlers as well as pets.

We purchased this screen because we have both inside and outside cats whose claws tore holes in our aluminum screens. Since replacing them with the screens the cats haven't been able to cause any damage to the screens at all. We are elated. We intend to replace all of our aluminum window screens with these.

Our cats easily ripped our old screen door, but with this new screen they jump and scratch, but no visible damage yet, it's much tougher than a standard screen. I'm going to replace our window screens next.

I needed to replace a screen in a window that our cat had pushed through and I wanted the same kind of screen in our front door. I found Metro Screenworks on line and found what looked like the same screen. When it came, I was pleased that it was the same kind, because the screen in the door has stood up to cats leaping on to it and climbing it with no damage to the screen. I am confident that the screen I bought for the window will stand up the same way.

My cats destroyed our standard screen door and made it impossible to not have bugs constantly get inside on a warm day; now we can have our back door open and the cats haven't damaged it at all! A little more work to install than a typical screen, but totally worth it.
